Oulu, Finland, meet St. Catharines, Ontario

As Director of Economic Development for the City of St. Catharines, Brock Dickinson established and maintained a municipal economic development partnership with the Region of Oulu in Finland.

Finnish investment follows

This has led to ongoing trade missions and community exchanges and has prompted more than two dozen Finnish firms to establish operations in the St. Catharines area.

Leveraging international linkages

In 2007, Millier Dickinson Blais also facilitated a trade mission and fact finding visit from the Oulu Region to Ontario with an eye to building new municipal partnerships with communities including Hamilton, Burlington and Waterloo, Ontario and Moncton, New Brunswick.
