Millier Dickinson Blais was established in 2006 out of a desire to build a collaborative team dedicated to helping communities and organizations wrestle with economic development challenges. With the growing evidence of a fundamental shift occurring in both the Canadian and global economies, our approach to our work remains focused on providing innovative and informed solutions to sustainable economic development.

This vision has shaped the firm into Canada’s leading economic development consultancy and positioned us at the forefront of industry thought and practice.

Passion comes in all sizes

We can scale up or down. Our team works with clients ranging from small rural communities to some of the biggest cities in Canada. We’ve helped individual entrepreneurs and large multi-national corporations. And we’re just as happy working with local community development organizations as we are with international agencies like the United Nations.

Our passion for our work extends to the industry as whole. Our team is actively involved in building the economic development community and making genuine contributions to Canada’s economic development profession through our active involvement with organizations such as the Economic Developers Council of Ontario and the Economic Developers Association of Canada. Our commitment also extends to our own communities be it participation in boards of trade, support for educational institutions or involvement in local community organizations.

In this spirit we have developed several industry resources and seek to generate dialogue around issues and developments in the industry.
