Daniel is a Senior Development Analyst with Millier Dickinson Blais. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography and a Master of Applied Environmental Studies in Local Economic Development from the University of Waterloo.
Daniel has been active in the economic development profession since 2001, starting with a position as an economic researcher in the Town of Ajax’s economic development department. He went on to serve as an economic development officer with the Municipality of Brockton in Walkerton and a project manager/planner with Malone Given Parsons Ltd. in Markham. At Millier Dickinson Blais, he has been responsible for economic and sector-based analyses, stakeholder consultations and economic development and tourism strategies. He was part of the consultation team to complete the economic development strategies for the Town of Newmarket, Town of Ajax and City of Mississauga.
Daniel is a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and Canadian Institute of Planners.
Originally from Elgin County, Daniel now lives in Whitby, Ontario, with his wife Renee and sons Owen, Caleb and Jared.
