She has also worked with multiple municipalities in Eastern Ontario where she focused on business retention and expansion, tourism development and sustainability policy. Added to this is her experience as a Research Assistant with the Canadian Institute for the Advancement of Women (CRIAW) in Ottawa, ON, where she researched the social ramifications of economic growth and decline in the sub-polar region of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador. Her own areas of interest are knowledge mobilization and translation, regional economic development, sustainability and international development.

Stephanie is originally from Lanark, Ontario. She presently resides in Guelph with her fiancé Peter and works out of our Hamilton office.
